Karen Cappello, MA, CLC, PCC
Instructor and Executive Coach

Karen Cappello is a professional certified coach, managerial coach trainer and communication specialist who works with executives, coaches and entrepreneurs to enhance communication skills and improve business results. With over 40 years of experience and expertise in business management, financial planning, higher education, and executive coaching, Karen brings a broad-based background to NRG.

Karen has served as president of a privately held semi-conductor manufacturing firm with preferred supplier status to Motorola Inc. As an estate and financial planner, Karen was affiliated with PartnersFinancial, an independent group. In her first two years in estate planning, she qualified for Million Dollar Round Table status and obtained her Series 7 license. As a featured monthly speaker to the guests at Canyon Ranch Health Resort, Karen consistently filled the room as she brought  forth her passion for direct communication, coaching and leadership .

Her level of excellence is evidenced by her former position as Chief Learning Officer and faculty member with International Coach Academy, out of Australia, and her ongoing work with Ford's global leadership team as an executive coach.

Karen holds a master's degree in higher education from Ball State University and a bachelor's degree in interpersonal communication from Marquette University. Karen is a professional certified coach through the International Coach Federation, a board certified coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education, a certified life coach through Coach For Life™ and is a Master Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator through the Foundation for Inspired Learning™.
